Tumbling
Jackson has started a tumbling class at a local gymnastics school one night a week. He has only had one class, but he seemed to like it. If you ask him, his favorite part was the "tramp". Can't say I blame him; it sure looked like the most fun to me. As far as his tumbling skills go...all I can say is that it is a good thing we enrolled him - his somersaults look like "log rolls".

Happy Even With Pneumonia & Bronchiolitis
He sounds like a freight train when he breathes and a 60 year old smoker when he coughs, but he looks happy as a clam.

Video Clips of Jackson from Christmas
In this first video, we are checking out "Santa's footprints" that were left on our carpet Christmas night when he checked to make sure that we were sleeping. I guess this really confused Jackson because the Easter Bunny left similar looking "paw prints" on Easter last year...
I totally set myself up by even ASKING this question, but here's video of Jackson's answer to the question: what was your favorite Christmas gift? For the record though, he has only played with the puzzles once or twice, but he has played with the trains lots of times...

"I Told You"
That's Jackson's new favorite saying. And, it's LOVELY to hear, let me tell you. Just what you want your not-quite-three-year-old repeating over and over, "I told you!" Last night he was insisting that this mac-n-cheese was too hot, despite my assurances that it was cooled down, so he just kept saying "I TOLD you it's too hot. It's too hot Mommy. See, I told you it's too hot." He did this for what seemed like 30 minutes, but was probably about 4 minutes. Still, 4 minutes of that sucks...especially when he was just WRONG about the mac-n-cheese still being hot.
Anyway, he does do a good job of mixing the phrase up to really drive his point home, so sometimes he'll replace the proper "you" with "ya" (as in: "I told ya so") or he'll add the word "see" in front (as in: "See, I told you/ya..."). He doesn't mean to, but he does make me laugh when he says it....
