We're off to see the wizard....

We went to the pediatrician for the first time earlier this week. Jackson's (and Mommy's) first trip out of the house since coming home from the hospital. Kind of a waste of time since the doctor didn't really do anything but give him the good "once over", but I guess it was nice to hear from an "expert" that Jackson looked healthy. For those that keep track of such things, he measured in the 75%-ile in weight, 97%-ile in length, and 75%-ile in head circumference.....which really made me feel bad for those women who give birth to babies with head's in the 90%-ile or more - Yikes!

Yeah, when I saw little Jackson on Wednesday, I told Colleen, "it took you 29 hours to push THAT little thing out?"
She didn't appreciate it all that much.
Sounds like he is growing good! Love looking at that sweet, peaceful, sleeping face!
Head circ now doesn't mean that much reguarding the birth. Remember those bones in the head can shift around while the baby is being squished out. Shoulders mean more than the head size because they don't mold! (Unless you are unlucky enough to have a baby who dislocates his shoulders or breaks his collarbone at birth!)
