He's Showing His Maternal Grandfather's Genes

He's just now started to enjoy watching t.v. Two months ago, he could take it or leave it, for the most part, after about 5 minutes. He'll watch for much longer stretches now.

He really enjoys Play With Me Sesame the best; it seems to keep his attention the longest and it makes him giggle. Something about those muppets can really make a kid smile! But, to my dismay, he also likes The Wiggles.Someone really needs to explain this one to me. I'm sure he likes it for the singing, the dancing, and all the bright colors, but I just don't get it. There are these 4 perpetually chipper Aussie men dressed in primary-colored, Star Trek-looking shirts, who prance around singing songs about the joys of fruit salad and such. Jackson seems to particularly enjoy their song "Central Park, New York". Anyway, the gents are all fine and dandy. My problem is with their sidekicks. There's a giant dog (Wags), giant octopus (Henry), and giant dinosaur (Dorothy) that participate in the songs and the various skits, but they never seem to explain why these men are hanging around with this hodge-podge of giant stuffed animals. What the heck? But the kicker is that The Wiggles also hang around with a character dressed up as a pirate and named Captain Feathersword. Apparently, Feathersword can do mysterious things with his....well.....feathersword. Am I the only one that finds this whole get-up very weird?
