A Few Pictures of Jackson's Birthday at Home

A negative to having your birthday fall mid-week? You can't have your birthday party on your actual birthday. But, the bonus to having your party on a day that isn't actually your birthday? You still get to celebrate on your real birthday too. Can't really complain about that now, can you?

Enjoying a birthday cupcake with Daddy.
Lounging in the frequently requested Snuggie for Kids in his color of choice, blue. These stinkin' TV commericals! He asks for anything he sees on TV more than once: Paperoni, Bendaroos, Aqua Sand, Snuggie, etc.

I'm FOUR!

Can you believe it?

I'm not gonna go overboard and say something like he's the cutest four-year-old to ever walk the face of the earth. Instead, I'll say something more modest about him: He's the most awesome four-year-old ever. So there, I said it. You know I'm right. :)

Tumbling Party!

Max, Carter, the birthday boy, & Hudson waiting patiently.
Run!
Jump!
Cheese! Bosco (Yep, just like the chocolate sauce), Max, & Jackson: preschool buddies.
The rope swing was a hit.
The babies had a good time walking and crawling up and down the floor trampoline.
Madagascar cake.
Yum yum.
The kids were like a swarm of bees during present time. It was kinda insane.

Hangin' with Hudson on Presidents' Day

We pulled out the igloo tent to mix things up. It was a LONG weekend.
Luke's just making sure Hudson doesn't get too comfortable in his temporary digs.
The ruffian.
Oreos taste better inside an indoor tent.

What's Cookin', Good Lookin'?

It's funny. He walked right over and put that apron on all by himself; seemed like he knew exactly what he was supposed to do with it. We put it on him once before - maybe - and even then, it was a while ago. On the other hand, he just goes over there to press the button on the grill - with no food on there. If you ask him to cook you something, he looks like he has no idea what you're talking about. How did he learn that he was supposed to wear the apron, but he doesn't know to pretend cook? It's weird what they figure out all by themselves and what they miss....
